Q&A

Can I wear a wetsuit?
Absolutely. If you think you will be a bit chilliy in the lake then lake (did we mention it gets up to 25 celsius or more) then wearing a wetsuit is a great option.

What should I bring to the tournament?
As well as the regular snacks, water and towel we will be outside in the sunshine so some shade, chairs and perhaps even a cooler would be a great idea.

How much sunscreen can I wear when I play?
Referees will do a 'sunscreen check' ahead of games. This means you'll need to apply that all importan UV protection about 20 minutes ahead of a game to make sure it has had time to soak in. If your skin is too slippery you may be asked to towel off the excess lotion.

What happens if there is bad weather?
In the event of rain we will continue to play but if there is thunder or lightning we will need to stop games for safety reasons.

How many games will each team get?
Each team will have at least 4 games. Teams who make finals will have additional games.

How long will each game be?
13U - 8 minute halves (run time)
15U - 8 minute halves (run time)
18U - 10 minute halves (run time)
Adult Rec - 12 minute halves (run time)

Can I play up?
If you have played up an age group in your club then please drop us an e-mail after you have registered. We will prioritise players in each age group but there will likely be opportunities to play in more than one age group.
