Water Polo Weekend for Everyone!
Whether you're new to the sport, returning after a break, or already training toward high-performance goals, there’s a session for you at our Kamloops Water Polo Weekend!
Join us at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre from October 17–19, 2025 for a weekend of fun, fitness, and skill development. With programs for adults, kids, and youth of all experience levels—from playful 12U games to advanced National Development Centre training—this event truly has something for everyone.

The National Development Centre – British Columbia provides training and competition opportunities for athletes with provincial, post-secondary, and national team aspirations, following the Long-Term Development pathway.
Who is the NDC for?
The NDC-BC is for committed, high-performance-track water polo athletes — players who already have strong fundamentals and want to train in an elite environment that bridges club, provincial, post-secondary, and national-team levels.
- Ages: Typically born 2008–2013 (around 12–17 years old)
- Experience: Comfortable in water polo, not complete beginners
- Goal: Aspire to play at provincial, university, or national levels
- Commitment: Motivated to train with structure and feedback from advanced coaches
Training emphasizes technical and tactical development, conditioning, game intelligence, and teamwork — all aligned with Water Polo Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development model.

Water Polo Canada — Community Coach Course Oct 17–19, 2025

Get certified at the Community Coach level and learn how to introduce water polo skills in a safe, fun, and age-appropriate way. Ideal for new coaches, parents, senior athletes, and volunteers supporting 12U/14U programs.
- Audience: New coaches, parents, senior athletes
- Focus: LTAD-aligned practice design, safety & supervision, game basics, communication
- Format: Theory & on-deck practical components
