Hello, I am Ben Halsall and a keen water polo player, masters swimmer and surfer. Since moving to Canada from England I have lived in Québec, Saskatchewan and recently moved to Kelowna in June 2021. It was in Regina that I discovered my love for water polo and when I moved to Kelowna it became my mission to start a club.
My passion for the water is shared with my two children who participate in artistic swimming and water polo. This first hand experience of teaching my own kids to swim and being involved in a wide range of aquatic disciplines has helped me to be a patient teacher.
I recently took my involvement with swimming to the next level by completing my Water Safety Instructor certification with the Red Cross as well as completing my National Lifeguard Pool & Waterfront certifications. I now regularly teach private swimming in Kelowna as well as coaching our youngest players of ages 6-8 in the clubs Splashball program.
I am really excited to see how our new club grows in the coming years and can’t wait to see you at the pool.
