Kick Off 2026 with a Splash: KWPC Holiday Practices, Polar Bear Dip & Winter Season

Polar Bear Dip – January 1

Hello amazing Water Polo community! On January 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM, KWPC will be taking part in the CRIS Kelowna Polar Bear Dip at Tugboat Beach.

This event supports CRIS Adaptive Adventures, a local charity helping people of all ages with disabilities enjoy outdoor activities. Please register ahead of time ($15) and feel free to fundraise — our team has raised over $800 in the past.

Arrival: 1:20 PM (parking fills quickly).
Bring: water shoes, warm layers, gloves, towel or robe.

We’ll jump in together, grab photos, then head to KBI for pizza and a celebration drink.

Holiday Practices at H2O

Holiday practices are a fun, informal way to stay active over the break and a great chance to try water polo or meet our senior youth and adult teams.

Who are these sessions for?

• Senior A athletes
• Senior B athletes
• Adult Rec and Adult Competitive players
• 14U athletes who have trained with the 16U team (by coach approval)

These sessions are more relaxed than regular practices and will be led by the adult and senior athletes who attend. Please check in with your coach and ensure parent/guardian permission before participating.

Registration is open for the January–April 2026 winter session for youth and adults. Program start dates are listed on each registration page.
