Latest updates for players, families, and upcoming events at Kelowna Water Polo Club.

New Youth Players – Spring Registration Open

We are now welcoming new players for the April, May, and June session.

12U and 14U divisions are open, making this a great time for new athletes to try water polo.

If you know someone looking for a new sport, or swimmers wanting extra pool time, spring is the perfect opportunity to get started.

Practice Schedules & Spring Registration:

All athletes registered in January are covered through the end of April.

If you plan to continue into May and June, a discount code is available—please email [email protected] for details.

Tournament Availability – Action Required

Coquitlam Community Tournament (CoEd Youth)

April 25–26, 2026

This is a great coed tournament for all age groups.

We are currently short on players and would prefer to send full Kelowna teams. If we do not have enough athletes, we will combine with another club.

Current availability:

  • 18U: Yes (2), Maybe (2)
  • 16U: Yes (3), Maybe (1)
  • 14U: Yes (6), Maybe (2)
  • 12U: Yes (5), Maybe (3)

Whiskeyjacks Wet & Wild (Adults & 18U)

May 22–24, 2026 – UBC

We currently have 7 confirmed players and 7 maybes / awaiting approval.

We are planning for a roster of up to 13 players.

Swim Suit Order Update

Swim suit orders have been placed and are currently on their way from Spain.

We will share updates once they arrive and are ready for distribution.

BC Provincials – Training

Provincials athletes are welcome to attend Senior A and Senior B practices leading up to Provincials.

Senior Practice Expectations

If a coach has not yet arrived, the most senior player should lead the dryland warm-up.

These sessions are designed for experienced athletes—please encourage leadership and initiative.

Schedule Changes & Cancellations

  • April 3–5: No practice (Easter weekend)
  • April 6: 7:30–9:15pm – Senior A, Senior B & Adult Rec (Provincials athletes welcome)
  • April 10: Youth practice cancelled (Provincials)
  • April 11: Senior A practice cancelled (Provincials)
  • April 17–19: No practice (Swim meet)
