Gyula Bihary

Gyula has been coaching our youth team since January 2021 when his son joined the water polo club. His water polo playing experience is from the global home of the game in Hungary where crowds for games are in the 10s of thousands. Gyula played and studied at the National Water Polo Institute in Budapest.

The profile photo you see here is taken at the Junior Water Polo World Championship in Szombathely Hungary in 2018, the lady sat next to Gyula and his son is one of the Canadian team's mothers. We are lucky to have this experience of the high level European game here in Kelowna.
