Summer Lifeguard for Lake Practices

Would you like to be a lifeguard for an exciting new club in Kelowna? We are planning our inaugural practices on Lake Okanagan for the summer of 2022 during July & August.

Kelowna Water Polo Club is seeking 2 or 3 part-time lifeguards to work alongside its team of coaches and volunteers whilst supervising Youth (8-17) & Adult (18+) Water Polo Practices in Kelowna, BC.

Each practice will be 2 hours long (1 hour for youth and 1 hour for adults) with the schedule to be finalised this spring. We will be practicing on the lake throughout July & August with the potential for 2hr practices one or two days per-week. 

QUALIFICATIONS
First Aid Certificate
National Lifeguard Pool Certificate or National Lifeguard Waterfront
Criminal records check

DUTIES
Working with the Kelowna Water Polo Clubs coaches you will be responsible for lifeguarding youth and adult practices.

SALARY & SCHEDULE
Compensation: $18-$25/hr depending on qualifications & experience
Schedule: 2-4 Hours/week (weekday or weekend)
Start Date: July 2021 - date of first practice to be confirmed
